Feeding a family

One of the most challenging things I have found in trying to make a life change is finding things tastey enough that my family eats them too. My husband is a very picky eater. He is willing to try new things and I am thankful for that. He understands what I am trying to do and supports me. My kids are too young to understand.

I am hoping that by making small changes here and there I will slowly win them over. This weeks change, switching their sugary cerial for oatmeal twice and eggs with toast once this week. I recently read that there is almost the same amount of sugar in fruit loops as there is in a kit kat bar (shutter)... more healthy brain food in the morning is the first change I am working on with the kids. One battle at a time... I will win them over.
