Today I started meeting with a trainer. She is putting me on a great program, worked on upper body today, back on Friday to work lower and abs. She is kicking my butt, which is what I really need. I've already lost some weight on my own but I know her guidance will help me workout effectively and keep moving off of those dreaded plateaus.
I was leery at first, after all, $99 for 3 sessions. That is until I calculated I was spending about that much a month sneaking take out because 'I deserved a taco (or 3) or a whopper...'. Now I am putting things in perspective. If I deserve anything it's a healthy body and energy to keep up with my active hubby and kiddos. And my family deserves a wife/mother who is healthy, too.
Onward and upward...well, downward as weight goes.
