My workout mood TOTALLY changes with the weather!

Okay, I need a serious talking to! I'm up 2 pounds. And not "water weight" pounds, like hard solid pounds. I can feel the "on a week, off a week" + "bad eating habits" creep up on me and Easter is right around the corner! I feel like I do this alot, one step forward, two steps back crap. UGH!


The warm weather, while a good thing, slowly sabotaged me, I might have been active, but not overly pushing myself. I was taking advantage of warmth as a relaxer instead of a catalyst to GET MY BUTT IN GEAR! And now as I look out my window at MORE SNOW, I have this urge to get back on my elliptical! Yay! (Nothing like looking at it as a positive I guess!)


It's amazing how quickly temperature and weather affect me!! It's like a light switch or something and a great wake up call before it was too late! So right away this morning I got back on track, got in a good sweat, and drank 2 full glasses of water even before my girls were up. FINALLY. Thank you Mother Nature for sucking! Everything outside is a muddy mess so I'll stay inside. I might even do a 2-a-day since I feel motivated!

Either way, I know it's going to get warm again soon and I REALLY need to figure out my "warm weather" routine. I just realized I've never really had one! Last year I was post prego during the summer and really didn't care about any routine. THIS summer is going to be totally different. Alot of you may be thinking, Summer is WAY easier to workout in than the Winter, but I totally disagree, at least for now. At least until I GET THIS FIGURED OUT!!! When it's warm out, I have ZERO ambition to workout in the gym. Not even 10% of me wants to go, I'm talking ZERO!!

This weekend is going to be hard, Easter is a full weekend of family get-togethers and plenty of temptation. I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU CHOCOLATE REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER EGGS!!!!! YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME. But I'm going to prepare my brain and body for this. Each day is a challenge and each challenge brings me closer to my goal. I know I will get it figured out, I just hope sooner rather than later!

    YO, GIRL! GOYA, GOYA, GOYA!'re stressing. BREATHE! While you do need to re-assess a few things like your tracking accuracy, ('cause some of the items that have been submitted by other sparkers are not accurate and this messed me up for awhile as I was tracking them wrong regularly) you also need to GET MOVING! You were doing well, so you already know that when you WORK OUT YOU GET MORE grab a pen, or better yet a Sharpie marker, and write GOYA (get off your a$$) on the palm of each hand, and give yourself a double fisted gift of GO! You can push past this, I KNOW you can. Turn off to anything not absolutely necessary and DO IT! Blow up a balloon and play volleyballoon to kick start some activity this Easter, but keep moving!

    I want a status report on this by noon on Monday! My there!
