How to Stop Sugar Cravings

Monday, April 25, 2011

Okay, now that Easter is behind me (& this year it's not on my "behind" because I made controlled choices)... I ran across a great article on how to stop sugar cravings.

There isn't a single cure-all to sugar cravings, but in general, the less sweets you eat, the less you'll crave them. And if you indulged at all on those cute but dastardly peeps and/or chocolate bunnies, then take action TODAY to stop the continued sweet cravings. The more sweets and desserts we have, the more we seem to be waiting for the next hit.

If you're like most of us, you tend to crave sweets after a meal or as a pick-me-up in the late afternoon. I stocked up on fresh fruits to place in a beautiful bowl IN SIGHT so that I am more likely to calm the sweet tooth with a fresh fruit.

Anyway, I encourage you to take a few minutes to read this article... You'll be rewarded in more ways than by the SparkPoints at the end.

(& give the neighbor kids all those left-over sugar-loaded treats.)
