Fell off...im sorry i let you down

Friday, April 29, 2011

Well hi guys!

So here it is 4/29/2011 and i have missed 2 or 3 work-outs since my first one. I did one 2-3 days ago and then the other one today, so a total of 2 in the whole week. I feel like i let you down and myself down . In my defense i was sick and didnt feel like working out haha, but now i feel so much better that is why i worked out today because i want to get back into it. I cant wait until the 4th, we go shopping again which means i can officially get some good foods for my body, and im gonna try and get that whey protein stuff, i hear its good for your muscles and for recovery i think. So im going to try it.

Of coarse im going to stick with my water, because omg i drank a lot of soda!!! I have been drinking water only now for maybe 2 days really and it is so much more refreshing, and im sure that after about a week or 2 im going to feel much better and have more energy, my body will be cleansed. Its gonna be great!

Just dont want my spark friends or anyone to think im a failure, i just have to find that balance and keep being motivated! And i know i can, i have the will power to do it. I thank all of you for your support, and just being there for me even though i haven't been here long, it is just nice to have that comfort.

Well i will recap with you all on progress and such. Hopefully i will have........NO wait I WILL have better news for you when i write again :D. So to cap this note off, for the next few days until Tuesday i will be doing my turbo fire 30 min, then on Tuesday i will start the real schedule....because i would have already done the beginning of the schedule on Monday so then i will go to Tuesday and so on.....so yea! Im super excited to see what im at in 2 weeks, because im going to weigh myself and take my measurements in about 2 weeks from now. So i think the 14th of may.....i think thats 2 weeks lol....cause i counted today so anyways.

Okay well sorry for dragging haha just letting ya'll know! Well have a great weekend every one.

Hun your not letting anyone down, being sick is ok so you missed a few workouts thats ok, sometimes we have to step back and take a break even when we just start because we're not use it yet. But after you get in there and attack it you will start to get used to it and it'll be like 2nd nature to you. The water issue is the same thing. You just get used to grabbing that water bottle instead of that soda. That water will give you more energy then that loaded down sugar soda. It took me forever to figure that out. And you know that all of us here at sparkpeople will help you in anyway we can. We all fall off but then you just have brush it off and get back on it. You can do this I know you can your sparkfriends think you can. You are making us all proud by starting out and trying your best to lose weight. I know you want this because you want that make over so bad. I love you Whit Whit!!!

Hey girl be gracious to yourself. Being sick is totally not you slacking off or 'failing'. Making this a lifestyle will mean you have those times it doesn't workout like you want but you just keep moving forward!

I agree with KILLRBEE18 - You didn't fail you, we failed you because we should have helped you to tackle the obstacles and keep you motivated.

Obviously, being ill/injured is a good reason to rest. Don't overwork yourself as that will not help you in the long run but you still got 2 workouts in that is great - There are days when I don't want to workout for no good reason and it's finding the people or things to pick you up and get you moving along.

I know we are sparkfriends yet, but I would love to have more sparkfriends if you want to be, but I feel like the sparkteam I run with KILLRBEE18 let you down and for that I'm sorry.

If you ever need someone to chat to or want a place to rant etc than feel free to mail me or post in the sparkteam etc because I want to help you reach your goals as well.

You are not alone on this journey.

I didn't do hard exercise for over a week once between a knee injury and getting sick. The most important thing is getting back on track and I know you can do it!

So if I stand corrected-- you think you have failed us? No, I think I have failed you! I feel Sparkfrieds are suppose to help each other go through the obstacles that we are challenged with. Do not ever think you are a failure, nor be depressed with yourself. There are times in our life, that challenges get thrown at us, but we must learn to conquer them and be able to press on (with each other). It seems to me, that you have a plan-- go an execute it (no excuses). Keep in mind, nothing is free-- we Sparkfriends have to sacrifice a lot; to get what we want (healthy lifestyle, weight loss, etc). However, if you do sacrifice what is recommended-- then my Dear, you will achieve what you've been wanting for-- make your choice ( I already know what you've chosen). Have a nice weekend and if you have more obstacles, do not hesitate to email me. I will be gladly to converse with you and come up with a plan. Believe you and me, I still fight with my challenges-- but I want what's coming to me MORE than doing nothing (Ooorah).

I'm with you girl... it's hard to get into working out a lot... and deff. if you don't feel good... but do what you can and don't beat yourself up about it... You are already doing more than you have in the past... just making that step is a victory!!! You can do it!! Glad you are feeling better emoticon

I know its frustrating (I'm injured and can't run or do anything with impact) but taking care of your health means more than physical exercise. Keep it up but rest when you need it!

You can't be expected to work out when you're sick. Glad you got one in today.

I'm joining the Spring Into Shape Bootcamp Challenge; it starts now, or officially on May 1. It is just 10 minutes of toning and some at-will cardio each day for 4 weeks. I can do this!

I like the Calorie Cycling SparkTeam, too--just joined it. emoticon
