Well, I've been very bad about blogging this Challenge, not because of time, effort etc. but just because I couldn't think of what to blog about!!!! So I decided to just give a little recap of my week.
This hasn't been the best week of choosing healthy foods and sticking with my program, don't know why I messed up but I did! Hopefully this next week I will get my act together again.
Haven't had any problem getting my cardio and strength training in as I go to Curves, have Zumba 2 hours a week and walk Zoey several times a day. So what gives with no weight loss????? Guess I am just consuming too many calories/points a day!! I'm not offering any excuses, don't have any, just need to get back in control before I've put lots of weight back on.
I appreciate all the support my Spark Friends give me on my Spark page and status. You all are the best ever!!!!
CD10851349 job on the blog my friend. I think most of us can associate with you on the weight gain even when you think you are exercising and eating right. You will get back on track my friend. Those darn cookies do find a way into the food pool sometimes. 3387 days ago
That is awesome that you do zumba! ive never tried it but ive heard that its really fun!! is it easy to do if you do not have any dance skills lol? Also, remember muscle weighs more than fat so you may not be losing due to gaining muscle from all the activity you are doing! keep up the good work! 3542 days ago
Hang in there, Sandi, you'll get back on track!! With all your exercise, and walking, it'll all come together!! Yup... just got back from Sam's & the local grocery... got lots of goodies, and a few, portion controlled, "could be worse" bad 'treats'... moderation and within the limits, right? We just gotta find those limits and stick within them! Allow the tiny splurges, so we don't binge ;)
I did get a big container of cherry tomatoes, more than I can eat hearts of romaine bagged lettuce, celery, lean pork chops, egg whites (I'm planning a good b'fast tomorrow LoL), fresh (local) strawberries (and no shortcakes!) that will be eaten whole, not syrup-y! Oh, and also at Sam's, EA Active 2... I need to stay out of the Wii/games/DVD aisle there... it's dangerous each time!
So, balances out, right? 3 lil' treats per 20 healthy choices!
