Back from vacation

Monday, June 13, 2011

Well I'm back from vacation. We had a GREAT time. I didn't want to come home. My favorite part of our vacation was the seals at the beach. La Jolla , San Diego. I decided to eat what I want on this trip. This turned out to not be the greatest idea. I ate to many sweets. Day after day. Once I started I couldn't stop. Or should I say I didn't want to stop. Then I decided to drink soda. I haven't drank soda in over 2 months. It was a hard habit to break. Now my vacation is over. It's time to get back on track. I probably wont be able to make my 5% goal but that's ok. I still have lost weight. I feel better now than before. I have better eating habits. My blood pressure has went down. And there will always be another challenge to try. I am going to do my best to get as close to my goal as I can. The way I look at it is we are all WINNERS even if we don't make our goal. At least we tried our hardest.

Glad you had a good time. My sister lives in San Diego and I plan to go there for Christmas. I've been out there a couple of times, but it's been a while. I know what you mean about eating the sweets and not wanting to stop. I just went through a major slump of doing pretty much the same thing. Hoefully we're both back on track.
