I have lost 142 lbs as of today 6/30/11 & still trucking!! I never thought this would happen to me!

1- I give all the glory to my Higher Power (God) & to my Overeaters Anonymous family. It is truly a blessing to have support like that!!
2 - I keep to a food & exercise plan and use my sparks to track my calories.

I work hard for every ounce I lose...whew...sometimes I workout so hard I go right to sleep as soon as I get home from the gym. But all the sweat I leave on the gym floor is worth the accomplishments I get for losing the weight.

Here are a couple of new accomplishments & insights :)
1 - I finally fit into designer jeans and they have a zipper :) No more pull-on pants!
2 - I rode a horse on the beach last week!!! I have been waiting for years to do that!! There is a weight limit of 240 lbs or below to get on a horse and I finally made it :)
3 - My son is proud of me. It brings me to tears that my kid is so happy for me and he just glows when he looks at me :)
4 - I now climb stairs without having to stop halfway up and catch my breath before reaching the top
5 - I have a complete brand new wardrobe because all my large clothes were given away :) That includes shoes & boots =>I have lost 1 1/2 sizes in my feet!!
6 - Just a little thing to most folks, but huge for me. Now when I walk past people in a public place they no longer "move out" of the way and stare at me. It is awesome! I guess my larger size intimidated them...not sure what it was really. Still trying to figure that one out!
7 - Oh, something else...random people actually talk to me without me initiating a conversation first. Before I always felt invisible in a crowd of people even though I was the largest body there. Strange how I am treated more like one of the gang, rather than an outcast. That is HUGE!!

~ Wishing you Peace & Blessings on your journey toward health ~
