I am DECLARING MY INDEPENDENCE from BAD HABITS!
My Challenge Name: Summer 5% Challenge: Cats Team
My Starting Weight:177
Four Other things I will be measuring during this challenge & their current stats:
1. Upper arms: 14.
2. Waist: 33
4. Thighs: 23
If I am going to be 100% honest with myself, the reason I am doing this challenge is because: Over the last year I have gone through some life changes ( lost my job of 18 years, started school, quit school, got married)I have gotten me off track. After being a Sparker for over four years and loosing (at one point) a total of 64.46 lbs I found myself gaining back 15.46 lbs. That put me at 177 lbs today. So that means I need to lose nearly 30 lbs to get to my goal weight of 150 lbs. And that is why I am doing this challenge..
I feel like the reason that I have not been progressing as well as I hoped I would be is because: Life changes have thrown me for a loop. Adjusting to these changes are not as easy as you might think. Sometime it just takes time to get things back together. I am more than ready to continue my SP journey.
This time, I commit to finishing my challenge because I know that:
I'm scared of: gaining back more weight.
I want to: be fit and confident in my retirement years
I have faith in: the Lord and my own abilities to make this happen.
And THIS TIME, I will NOT quit, because THIS TIME: I am ready for the challenge
My top five non-health related motivations right now are:
1. my husband
2. my age
3. being able to be active when I retire (coming soon)
4. being a roll model
5. reaching my final goal
The best way to motivate me is to: just be there to listen when I need encouragement
The best way I can motivate myself is to: motivate others
