It's been a while my Spark friends...

Tuesday, August 30, 2011

Well, I was thinking of starting a new blog on Blogger to help me track my progress, BUT I figured why start over when I already have one going here. :-) Just eager to have a new project I suppose.

I am going to try my best to log my weight loss progress. I have so many things I want to accomplish in my life and often I feel that my weight holds me back. I want to make the necessary changes to be a happier and healthier person for myself, my family and my friends. I've tried a few times but have always fallen back in to my old ways. I have also recently learned that I have high blood pressure and I don't want to have to be on medicine for the rest of my days... I also don't want top be surprised with any other additional health problems so I better get my ass in gear!

So here we go, yet again. :-)

I have missed having a membership to a gym. I know it sounds silly but I just can not do exercise in my own home with tapes and floor exercises. I miss swimming and going to do cardio on a machine that makes me sweat! So last month I joined a gym up here in my town. I like it. And I love that I have friends that are joining with me. I wasn't able to go at all last week cause I was SO freekin' busy, but I have plans to start going with my roommate Amanda and my friend Taren.

On a personal note... I am excited about the potential of a new relationship that is slowly developing. Nothing too serious but looking forward to exploring it. :-) (Total hottie! ;-P Lol.)

Stay tuned for more craziness that is my life. ;-) My goal is to do a quick weekly weigh in with my blog. I set my first goal at 100 pounds. Then I will re-assess and go from there. Next Monday will be the first weigh in. :-)
