Getting fitness in anyway I can. lol

I've been doing good getting back to my routine. I walk daily at least twice a day one mile in the morning and one in the afternoon. during my breaks at work I walk instead of sitting at my desk all day. I am thinking about adding a 3rd mile for my last break. I can't seem to find the time when I am home I am always to busy with house stuff and my 2yr old. The only thing I get done at home is my 100 crunches and 20 wall push ups.

I also started drinking more water daily which makes me use the restroom more, naturally. So at work (I know I'm weird) but I decided to do wall push ups in our restroom. Every time I have to use it lol. It's a small one and no one else can see what you are doing. I do 10 wall push ups wash my hands and I'm out. It doesn't take but a minute. lol I know some of you are like what the heck?? But yeah I did 60 wall push ups at work ahahaha. call me crazy but My arms are sore. ;)

When I go to the stores I now park farther so I can get in those extra steps. When there is something I have to pick up off the floor, I squat. While I am driving I contract my stomache muscles. I sit in traffic 2 hrs a day. I might as well do something while I'm sitting there.

How do you get in extra fitness in your daily life??

    Every little bit helps! I do calf raises while I wash dishes, squats and jumping jacks when I'm doing my laundry just any little extra I can. During commercials while I'm watching TV I do my sit ups and push ups and leg lifts. You are rocking this Veronica, keep it up!!

    There is NOTHING silly about that. When I was losing every week I was doing stuff like that. I would do Jumping Jacks for a min. b/f washing my hands in the bathroom. (and of course w/ALL that water) sometimes that's A LOT of Jumping jacks!! emoticon While I'm at the stove I do squats or lunges! Hey take that 2 yr. old & do some Leg Lifts. I use to lay in the floor w/my nieces on my knees & lift them. They loved it & it KILLED ME!! They are getting too old & Way to Heavy for that but I think I will get the youngest one today!! Thanks for INSPIRING me today!! Jumping Jacks & leg lifts HERE I COME!! emoticon emoticon

    I routinely go up the stairs at work (2nd floor - 22 steps) rather than use the elevator. Our office is at the opposite end of the building from the bathrooms, so sometimes I do arm exercises walking the length of the hall - even if I feel really silly if a door opens. I throw in occasional calf raises and arm exercises while waiting on buses.

    When I need more bottled water, sometimes I'll skip the closest place and walk 1/2 mile to another, buy two bottles and treat them like weights on the way back.

    I love adding in those little extras like that.
