update on being a quitter

I smoked my last cig on saturday night, I am doing great, strong in mind, strong in body.
I am using e cigs, electronic cigs that create a vapor to simulate smoking and they have made this the easiest time I ever quit. Yes I have quit before, this is the fifth time. But like losing weight I learn more about me and what works best each time. I already wrote all this and more but the blog disappeared when I went to add it, something about not recognizing my password, blah.
Also Thank you everyone for your words of support and encouragement.
so shorter this time. I gave myself permission to eat whatever it took the first two days as they are the hardest. I bought sugar free gum and hard pretzel sticks but knew that dont always be enough.
Weight this morning was good, only up my usual two pounds.
Here another short version of what I wrote before. Sat night on way home from work I stopped at a store, saw boots in window of shoe store next door, fell in love with grey ankle boots, med heel , ties, big tongue that folds over. $60 on clearance. Which was still more than I felt I could pay. But decided I was going to be saving lots of money not buying cigarettes and bought them as a pre bribe. And they are the sort of thing I can wear a lot this winter, so they are like my victory boots. emoticon

    Way to GO, Cin!!!! I love the idea of the reward boots. They sound really nice! Good job watching the food as well. I think you are so right about learning things from previous attempts.
