Reboot Entry day 6

Friday, November 04, 2011

I suppose it was a combination of things adding up. I got home last night and even though I was very tired, I changed into my running gear and headed out. I was planning on 3 miles, but ended up only running 2, and then walking another .6 to get home. My legs were just so tired, and I was cold and achy. Flu-like, yea? I suppose the week was catching up with me altogether.

Saturday - 228.8
Sunday - 224.8
Monday - 223.0
Tuesday - 222.6
Wednesday - 222.8
Thursday - 221.4
Friday - 220.2

That's an all-time low for the last 23 years. We're in unchartered territory here kids.

Today's my off Friday, so we took the girls to the groomers early to get their feet and faces done. While at Cascade Station, we walked the loop around the shopping center. It ended up being 2.3 miles. Good. I've walked ~2 miles each day since Monday, and hope to continue over the weekend. We'll see how the weather holds out.

I'm still achy today. I don't have a lot on the schedule for the day, so I'll take it easy and see if this is just DOMS or detox or what.

Holy cow! I had missed most of your blogs over the last week (sorry...!) but I go MIA for a week and you drop nearly 9 lbs?!? Enjoy your success honey!

Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling optimal yesterday. I know the feeling of being exhausted and pushing yourself to get out there and get moving anyway. Hopefully you've managed to kick whatever it was to the curb today.

Congrats on doing so well -- hopefully the draggy feeling will go away soon. They say the detox is a week or so, so hopefully it'll be done this weekend. Way to go!

wow, you are just dropping that weight. you've got me seriously considering doing this in decemeber. i'd love to have some weight wash off of me. you and i both would be faster runners for losing those pounds!

i made more kale chips today, too. not sure if the expected frost is going to kill my kale, so i figured i'd go for it and have some more. definitely gets to the happy potato chips munchiness.

and uncharted waters.... might get a little scary there, but thankfully you're a tough woman able to handle being out of her comfort zone!

Wow. You're melting. I'm proud of you for doing that walking and for listening to your body last night and not over doing it.

I hope the girls look beautiful after the spa day. Toby and Maureen get theirs tomorrow, but don't tell them that. They hate bath day. LOL

Congrats on being in uncharted territory!! I hope you feel better tomorrow. I've had a few detox days that left me feeling not so great. Mostly bad headaches or stomach discomfort. All part of getting the bad stuff out I guess.
