Halloween is a very tough week for me.

Okay, I barely survived the candy holiday. I got on the scale mid week and was actually down .2 pounds. I was just hoping I didn't gain. Now, here it is the end of my week and I'm 2 pounds up. I'm hoping it's water retention. I'll know next week. Until then, I won't panic. Just keep plugging along.
Candy is gone and I just went food shopping for natures candy, fruit. I found an old plum in the fridge last night. Normally I'd have thrown it out since it was a bit old and soft. But I realized I've had no nutrients in my system at all since the candy night. So I ate it. It was actually the best plum I've ever had. I mean it was soooo goood!!!!!! It was old, but boy did it make me realize just how good fruit is. I'm sure it really wasn't the best plum out there, but being I've been living on candy, it sure seemed like it.
I think I'll go cut up that mango I just bought.....
