Good morning gang. I thought I'd leave a brief note to let you know how I've finished off my Reboot. Yes, yesterday was day 15, and today I'm having to figure out a different plan.

Saturday made me a bit giddy. That's the lowest I've seen in 23 years. It spurred me to try on some jeans to see how they fit. See, I bought those size 16 jeans several months ago, and then slowly outgrew them - in the WRONG direction. Last weekend, with the 5 lbs released, I tried those jeans on to see how they would fit. They didn't. Oh, they fit, but were uncomfortable and would not be anything that I'd wear out. This weekend, they fit nicely, and I'm going to work hard to make sure that they continue to fit.
The intervening months between buying the 16s and now ended up with my body 'rearranging furniture' (thanks Turtle!). My Eunice (squishy bump o'fat above my bellybutton) got bigger, and whatever tone I had gained was lost. I turned more squishy all over. Proof positive, if I needed it, that ST and working with weights and doing all that core work really DOES pay off. Running for me is about improving my cardio and respiratory system. ST and weights are what will shape and improve my overall appearance. Lesson learned.
I'm going to reintroduce grains, dairy, and proteins slowly to see how my body reacts. I'll probably obsess over the scale this coming week to see how things change, if anything causes a sharp uptick in the number, etc. I may not blog every day, but I'll let you know how things go soon.
So. This morning, I had coffee. It was pretty good. I don't feel super zoomy or anything. After I post this, I'm off to make those waffles. Then I'm going to go through the Spark vegetarian menu to see how it'll work for the next week, supplementing chicken and fish for a few dinners to slowly up my protein intake.
