LIME FALL CHALLENGE REFLECTION...
Wednesday, November 16, 2011
This has been a really hard challenge for me in some ways, I started it out not ready for it, wanting to throw in the towel and having no excitement about it whatsoever. But, I pulled through and actually started doing well until about week 7 when I gained a HUGE number. then i lost a big number, then gained the last two weeks giving me an overall gain of 4.2 pounds (see below).

11-09 ~ 316.6 (+2.2)
11-16 ~ 321.2 (+4.6)
Challenge loss: GAINED 4.2 pounds :(
However, in the midst of gaining and losing, I participated in MORE challenges than I have in several seasons of the Lime team!! So, that is a plus, I connected more with teamates, I blogged more. I even got to meet a fellow Lime in person which helped me SOOOOooo much! I cannot even describe to you what that did for me emotionally and mentally!
I am not happy with my gain on the scale, but I feel (even though I am still struggling) that I have gained so much emotioanlly and mentally! I am actually excited about the Winter team starting. So much so that i had the team ready a week early; for fall, I had Nikki set the team page up, because I was so not ready for it.
I feel a new determination to ROCK the winter challenge! Yes, we weigh in each week and i want to lose weight, BUT, my main focus will be working on the healthy lifestyle HABITS and making it MY lifestyle! I know if i focus on those things, I will come out a winner, no matter what the scale says! Not only that, if I truly focus on those habits, then the scale will have no choice but to move down eventually!
So, I am deeming the Fall Challenge a successful one for me becuase it has brought me to THIS point! Praise the Lord for that! Not only that, I am thankful for my teammates who helped me and encouraged me along the way!
Here's to WINNING IN WINTER!!!
