A Bit Sick Of Myself

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Ok, so, at the moment, I am a bit sick of myself. I have been sitting between 158 and 154 for the past few weeks (been inbetween 145 and 155 for 2 years!) and I am to blame. I'll eat right one day, then mess up two days. My exercising is not the problem, it's my vorocious appetite! I mean, I can eat a whole box of cereal in almost one sitting, in addition to the things previously eaten that day. Yesterday, I ate and ate and ate and still wanted more! Albeit, the foods are healthy, but it's still overeating! I'm just so frustrated with myself! I mean, how can I expect to get out of the 150's, let alone make it to my goal, if I can't stay within my calorie range??? Gosh - I'm sorry if I'm complaining, but I am just fed up with my lack of self-control. I've already come so far, and now I feel like I'm just stuck, or, worst, going backwards. Sure, a lot of my eating habits and exercise habits have changed positively, but this overeating stuff has gotten me angry with no one but myself. AHHH! Whew - feeling much better now; just had to vent. I'm not giving up; I just needed to get all of that out. Thanks :-)

I know how you feel - I overeat alot, too! And this time of the year is the WORST, like today there was a tray of yummy croissants and I had 2 and could easily eat 2 more! I'm contemplating going out for lunch instead of my diet TV dinner in there by those croissants - sometimes a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do emoticon

Hang in there, Jan. 1 will be here before you know it, and all this extra fattening food will go away. emoticon

Sometimes it feels like we are our own worst enemy!

But, really, you are not gaining for the last two years you have maintained a fairly steady that is a win in itself. If you are eating healthy things, getting enough nutrition out of your meals, exercising, drinking water, and sleeping well..then you are doing your best.

Your goal is to be the best you, that you can. And it sounds like you are trying. So you are winning!

Hope you have a good healthy Thanksgiving! emoticon
