i recently purchased a CD by kirtana. It is spiritual music and I was introduced to it at The Journey.
The dedication in the CD was really powerful to me and I just wanted to share:
"If I could, I would sing about the Divine Embrace that is possible when the mind stops striving to fix or change or resist what is and rests, even for a moment, in a simple willingness to not know.
If I could, I would sing about theunfathomable miracle that we exist at all.
I would sing about this strange dream we call life and the beautiful sadness inherent in the death of form. And I would sing about the eternal, always awake, invincibility of Being.
I would sing about the end of seeking, and the beginnig of finding what was never really lost.
If I could, I would make you dance and cry and forget about the "story" of who you are, and celebrate with me the Truth of who we really are, in form, before, form, and after death.
And sparks would fly out through these songs, from my heart to yours."
wow, I love the dedication. I would say that if I had thought of it first! If I could, I would do all of those things for myself and all of you. Whoever you are, wherever you are. And I just have to sit with these words because they feel so real to me, and they leave me speachless.
(The album is called This Embrace and it is by Kirtana and it is available on amazon)
