My trainer kicked my ass and was smiling the whole time!

Yesterday I worked out with my trainer Dan Rice (funny how his last name is a starch AND a carbohydrate). Last night we worked on chest, abs and shoulders and since I was incredibly out of it from finals and not getting enough sleep in general, (my description and his too) he made me do DOUBLE the amount of work. Let me just say I woke up sore as he|| but I was happy that I worked hard enough to be in actual pain the next day. No pain, no gain, right? HeH -.- Whoever made that quote up didn’t have my trainer kicking their ass two times a week, that’s for sure.

So Dan tells me that he is wicked tired as well because he came in early that morning before his 7AM client to work out on his quads. JUST his quads. I’ve heard of concentrating on certain body parts, but I have never heard of anyone, that I knew personally, to work solely on one body part. So he decides to squat down next to me while I am working at one of the stations to keep track of numbers as well as tell me how much pain he is in from the day’s workout. He couldn’t get back up! I had to stop what I was doing and help him stand up. Hahahaaha. He told me I should come in the next day and see how much more pain he would be in and to take a picture of it. LOL.

Sidenote: men were talking to me while I was working out. Which is weird because I looked gross.

Sweat + hair in messy ponytail + bright red face = not so attractive.

Food for thought: If ya’ll had the perfect body, would you still take part in nakid yoga? I wouldn’t.

If I had my 19-year-old Army body back I might do Yoga in a Bikini... in a park even... but I don't think I'd ever Yoga Naked.
Your personal trainer sounds awesome. I would be a bit flattered by the guys talking to you while you're working out. BLUE42DOWN is right, those guys are seeing the person, not the body, and are totally in support of your self improvement efforts.

No on the naked yoga, ever wever.

But I gotta disagree with you on this: "Sweat + hair in messy ponytail + bright red face = not so attractive."

Being all sweaty from a good hard workout can be super sexy. Just sayin'

Not me! I'm fully clothed when I do yoga and intend to remain so! =)

= Sweat + hair in messy ponytail + bright red face = not so attractive. =

Sure, BUT ... Sweat + hair in messy ponytail + bright red face = seeing the real person AND seeing them when they're working to improve themselves.

And too cute story about your personal trainer.

I love your trainer! He sounds like my karate Sensei (who is also in the military! lol).

As he's riding us, he is smiling. As we are being pushed further (but to a safe extent of course) he is just enjoying himself lol.

I enjoy it though--it makes me work harder and try to be my best! It sounds like you are in the right place.

I may consider naked yoga only if I ever get my body to where I want it lol
