NO MORE matter the temptation

Still tracking, because you know what, I NEED to.
Today instead of working out early I crawled back into bed for a few more hours of sleep, but then I was woken up by a phone call that my nephew and his wife needed a ride somewhere. So I got up, threw on some clothes and drove in to town to get them. WITH my banana and granola bar for breakfast. As I was helping them load and unload their groceries first at the store and then at their house I could not help but notice all the sweets and snacks. His wife even offered me a regular soda but I said going back now because NO MORE EXCUSES!
Then I drove home, I could have stopped for fast food which in the past I so would have done, but today I drove straight home and took the dog for a quick walk. I didn't count this as cardio though because we never got passed the neighbors house because he and her dog were playing and she and I were talking. No biggie though because the elliptical and I have a date each night after everyone is in bed and my homework is done.
I had dinner almost done by the time the kids got off the regular bus, I set the timer, explained what to do, and left to go get Ben. As I was pulling in to the elem school I realized my lifeline cell was at home, but I said to heck with it and drove to meet my dh without it.
Came home and had a measured portion of dinner, then a little bit more but I couldn't finish it so it didn't kill my calories for the day. I did notice we have some Peach Faygo in the house which i LOVE, but I will not drink any regular soda and have for the most part been avoiding diet soda as well.
8 days of cardio and counting....NO MORE EXCUSES!
