LIFE IS GETTING GOOD!!!

Thursday, January 19, 2012

Today was a really good day. I felt good! Nothing exciting to report so that in itself is a good thing. emoticon
I have met a really cool guy too. We went out last night...had a good dinner at Jose Peppers. I got a shrimp fajita platter but I only ate about 1/3 of it so I can have 2 lunches from it.... emoticon

    You've earned it.

    Excellent! emoticon

    WRT leftovers:

    I've been married for 44 years, and for the most part, we've never had leftovers until I started my life nutrition and fitness program (90.5 weeks ago). As an example of the impact this has had, in the refrigerator, there are the following leftovers (all of which I love, BTW):

    * 2 lbs of meatloaf
    * 2 lbs of beef stew
    * 6.25 oz of smoked pork sausage

    I will eventually eat most of it. (MDW, Beth, is like an air fern, her calorie consumption is "transcendental" emoticon ).

    Both of us view leftovers as the great treat my ongoing lifestyle has given. Cooking is only a weekly activity, now, instead of daily.

    Congratulations, again, to you.

    Enjoy!
