Day 10 and 11

Day 10 was rest or recovery. I did the dvd for the first time last night. It was pretty nice. Lots of stretching and foam rolling.

Day 11 was Total Body X2. I had some pain shoot up my side where I had a surgery to correct a tube that was not connected right a few years ago. After a couple of bouts of pancreatitis, I had surgery in March of 2009. Every so often when I work out I get a sharp pain where I had the surgery. I had to go light on the workout today and skip Ab Ripper all together. I usually notice the pain after ab exercises but today it was after the world's greatest stretch when I stretched my right side upward. I still did the rest of the dvd just carefully.

I was also discouraged that I have put on 2 pounds over the weekend. I did splurge on Friday night but otherwise have stayed in all my ranges here on sparkpeople. I have still been doing the workouts and eating okay. It will get better. I just have to tell myself that. Keep bringing it!
