Day 22 still....PIZZA, it's what's for dinner.....

Thursday, February 23, 2012

So night before last I had parent teacher conferences and I grabbed the kids Little Caesars, not a healthy choice per say, but not a terrible one since none of them overindulge. Well, as tempting as it was I ended up having a breadstick but NO pizza! There was so much left over because I didn't have any and hubby only had a couple pieces that the littler kids had it for dinner again tonight and still I had NONE! I am really proud of myself, that used to be a deal breaker for me, we even have chocolate in the house and although I am tempted I am not eating it! I will be seeing my best friend this weekend and my chocolate will be going with me and I will not be bringing it home....skinny chocoholic can have it ALL

So on an interesting note my rings are all becoming super loose. What does everyone recommend for this? I do not want to have them sized in the interim of weight loss but I want to be able to wear them too. I have a gorgeous wedding band, three stone engagement ring, anniversary eternity band and now I can wear all three on my left hand ring finger and have them not feel like too much and even a little loose. I am starting to worry I could lose them if I continue to wear them. The worst part is that the only one I can have truly sized smaller is the engagement ring because my wedding band has a design on it and my eternity band is stones all the way around.....bummed at the idea of not being able to wear them on my left ring finger

If that is the least of my sadnesses thought how amazing is that??? okay, off to get 6 hours of sleep for a change instead of 3 or 4. night all

There is something you can get from a jeweler to make most rings fit tighter. I have a special pearl ring that used to fit on my right ring finger and now it's far too loose there. I am wearing it on my right middle finger, but it's rolling around and loose there, too. I need to get that adaptor thing for this ring. Some people wear them as necklaces.. I'd ask a jeweler what they recommend. I may have to face that soon with my diamond and woven white gold wedding band.

emoticon with the pizza and chocolate temptations!!

I am having the same trouble with my rings and have started wearing them on the next finger (middle). There are some round plastic/rubber tubes that are supposed to go over the back of the ring to help fill in. I ordered some cheap one and can't get them on so I want to check with a jeweler as they may have a temp. fix. Hope you can get some good ideas here. Good luck and CONGRATS on the weight loss!!
