I am determined to get off this stinking plateau and get my butt moving again!!
I have a nice little exercise streak going (at least 30 minutes every day, since Tuesday), which I intend to keep up. I’m adding strength training to my routine to really kick it up a notch. (BAM!)
The weather looks great this week, so I’m planning to run on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Probably with DD in the stroller, which just adds to the workout! I’m planning strength training for Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday
I’ve got healthy dinners planned for the week, and my grocery shopping is done already. WOO-HOO!! Tomorrow, I’ll put together a crockpot meal for Monday, so DH can just plug it in before he leaves for school and dinner will be done by the time I pick up DD.
I have a great plan for lunches this week (it’s southwest salad week!) and will be prepping a couple tomorrow for Monday-Tuesday. (And making my own dressing from nonfat Greek yogurt!) Breakfast will be my standard egg white sandwiches… I have an addiction. ;)
One interesting challenge will be Wednesday, when I will be attending a conference in an annoyingly distant city that I have to drive to. Lovely. I’ll be up extra-early that day, so I can fit in my workout before leaving. Also, conference food is always a challenge. Let’s think happy thoughts that there are healthy options!
I also plan to start splitting my lunch hour, to fit in a 20-30 minute walk mid-day. I don't have a window in my office, so I need to take advantage of this beautiful weather as much as I can! I’m going to leave a pair of sneakers in my office so I don’t have any excuses, and I'm making plans with a co-worker to head out a few times each week.
It's amazing how well DH and I do when we have a plan and stick with it! Having dinners prepped and ready to go has been a huge help on busy weeknights, and I make sure to have my runs in our shared calendar so he knows what to expect ahead of time.
