frustrated..(non diet/exercise related)

Tuesday, April 03, 2012

Okay I need to vent a bit!! Not really a vent more frustrated!! Okay I have a weekly bible study in my house and I really only cancel when I have something for the boys at school or when my kids or I am sick as her husband has a heart condition and cannot afford to get sick. SO yesterday I send her an email letting her know that my kids are off for 2 weeks for spring break and that I would be taking this time off from studying because we have activities going on and I don't want any obligations during this time so we are free to come and go as we please. And said " I hope you can understand this". Well today I get a text asking if we could study on Friday!! This lady is very pushy and doesnt like to take no for an answer!! So I sent her a message back asking her to PLEASE respect my decision not to study for these 2 weeks as we already have plans during the week with friends..which we do!! Studying is important to me but I really need this time with my kids and even though it is only an hour or so I just feel like this hour is more important to be with my kids while they are off from school.

Off to exercise and work this off!!

OH and just to let you know that by Tuesday at the latest I will have my pics posted as Friday I am getting a new hairdo...change of color and highlights and cut short!! I cannot wait!!

Thanks for listening!!!

edit.........

She finally responded to the last email that I sent to her asking her to please respect my wishes and her response was.....OK, I will wait to hear from you. But it wasnt the ususal lovey dovey endings that she usually leaves. To better understand why I want this time is because my youngest is in school from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and my two older boys are in school 1pm to 5:45pm...so Monday - Friday we are hardly ever all toghether at the same time and cannot enjoy time as a whole family.

Hope you are enjoying your spring break. Glad that she wrote back. It doesn't matter that it wasn't all "lovey dovey".

What an unusual school schedule compared to where I work. My school district is 8-2:30 elementary, 7:57-2:59 middle school, 8:01-3:14 for the high school, where my kids go. I work at a school where the bell schedule is 7:57-3:04. But for the most part, all kids go to school around 8 and get out around 3 or so. A split school day must be hard on the family.

And you don't have to explain to us or her. If you want a break, you deserve a break. And spending time with family is important!

Perhaps she just didn't understand fully the need for your time with your family. Be patient yet firm. It's all good.

As for venting, I don't think anyone minds. I know I've vented quite a bit myself on this site. It's nice to get it off your chest before a good sweat.

    Have a fun spring break!!

Be assertive and do what you feel is best! Don't let someone push you into something!

Can't wait for the new pics!

Venting sometimes helps along with exercise. I think it helps you from saying what you really want to say to people like that, something you might later regret.

Enjoy this time with your kids, it won't be long before they are off on their own.

Vent away. That would frustrate me too. Spend time with the kids and don't worry about this woman!
