Holding steady despite hectic life

Friday, April 06, 2012

I have been working very social jobs lately. Lots of email, lots of meetings, lots of one on one talks, lots of events involving lots of people. And for about three weeks I had two jobs overlap- one an 8 week gig, the other a 3 month gig. All that means is that while I've thought fondly of my Sparkfriends over the past few months, I didn't log on, because I needed to not socialize in my time off.

The good thing, which I share with y'all, is that the systems I put in place last Fall/winter have held (for the most part) despite a very hectic life. I eat fairly well- not quite as a good as I should, but much better than I did last year this time. Most of my exercise is in the form of fast/hard biking to and from work and most everywhere I want to go, but I am holding steady in terms of my weight and now that my work life is shifting from 50 hours a week to 30 hours a week, I'm ready to crank up my exercise routine.

So I send grand good wishes to everyone. And a reminder that the work you do to create better health regimes does make a difference. And with just some attention will hold even when things get crazy.
