What the catepillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly

another quote pirated from a fellow sparker. What wonderful motivational and inspirational things we can find here on spark people.
Imagine that what you fear is really the transformation that will turn you into a butterfly and you just don't know it. A catepillar can't know a butterflies life, even though it is a butterfly in becoming. It can't imagine a world of flight while it is grounded with a slow walk. I am imagining myself as a butterfly in training and my fears not as reality, but only a mere cocoon, that once I break free from, I will fly.
There is a song that I love by Mary Chapin Carpenter that says "why walk when you can fly". Its a beautiful song. I'm sure you can google it and find the whole words. I love it and have sung it over and over to inspire me through the years. Of course, if I were to sing it to you, it wouldn't be so inspiring. you'll have to learn the words and sing it to yourself.
Our fears may tell us that it is the end of the world and that if we were to do "that thing" then we will surely die. But fear is made up by our mind and not real. A Course in Miracles also reminds us of this and reminds us that only love is real.
Let's all face our fears and doubts and FLY!!!
