Today I followed through on writing down everything I ate. Honestly, I thought I had a decent day. BUT...the numbers say something different. I ate 2335 calories today. I didn't even have any chocolate! Where was my problem...well...if I subtracted:
the cashews (163 calories) ,
The potato chips (reduced fat) (304 calories),
the pretzels (110 calories) and
the two oatmeal muffins (173 calories)....
I would have been in the top range of the proper calories. Wow...I even ate an orange today too...
BUT...I learned something today...everything counts and calories add up fast so make good choices.
I do plan on being in my calorie range tomorrow! Wish me luck!

I am always amazed at how fast those calories add up. It's such a learning experience and don't beat yourself up when you go over. It's not easy!! Pretty soon you will be able to know exactly how many calories you are taking in! 3282 days ago
