Yes...I do like to be challenged. Living in a rural area does not allow me to have the socialization with exercise/weight loss that I need...but since I found the BLC...problem solved!

Chocolate and hand held snacks...if I have to unwrap it, I won't eat it.

"This is my last night before I start to eat healthy...might as well enjoy.".
I will overcome it by knowing that I have started "day 1"

and therefore, no more chances for foolish eating.
F is for FURRY FRIENDS...you have?
I have a black lab and a cat, named Miss Kitty. I still miss my darling yellow lab, Katie, who crossed the rainbow bridge last April 30th. She was my "baby". Pictures of my labs are on my sparkpage.
G is for GROCERIES...what do you fill your cart with?
diapers, formula, too many carbs but not usually anything bad. My DH will do that for me!
H is for HOME...what state do you call home?
Massachusetts, but was born and raised on Long Island, New York.
I is for INSPIRE...who or what is your roll model/inspiration?
My sister-in-law has less than 10% body fat and it very fitness minded. At 50, she is amazing and very youthful. I think I also need to think about this more...good question.
J is for JOB...What do you do for a living?
I teach 5th grade. My passions are literature and American history, as well as reading. I lack the time for such hobbies now but if you get me started talking about Abigail Adams or such...I will talk your ear off without realizing it. I love my job.
K is for KEEP IT SIMPLE...What's your focus when short on time?
Now...sleeping and getting things done that have to be done, like laundry and school work.
L is for LOG...Do you use the Nutrition and Fitness trackers?
I always used the fitness tracker but for the past two days, I have used the nutrition tracker and learned a lot about how much I am really eating.
M is for MOTIVATION...Which gives you more, Mirror or Scale?
Scale

motivates me more as I don't truly "see" myself as I really look. I still think I am 20 years old with a slim waist.
N is for NAME...What's the meaning behind your sparkname?
Prior to having children (I did not think I could have them), my pets were my family. I had two labs that I loved!~
O is for OUNCES...How many ounces of water do you consume on a daily basis?
Constant struggle to drink water....but when I was pregnant...I drank at least 100 ounces a day...now...drinking 6 ounces is a huge task.
P is for PRODUCE...How many fruits and veggies do you consume daily?
I like fruit but hate veggies (except carbs like corn and potatoes). I have been trying to eat fruit at snack at school.

This is new for me after having a baby and I actually do not have a routine. Consistency has been a problem for me in regard to exercise.

Reading

and cross-stitching. I also like to watch Masterpiece Classics and British classics are a favorite. I was a big fan of Downton Abbey on PBS.
V is for VACATION...If you could travel anywhere, what destination would you choose?
We have traveled to Vermont and Maine. My honeymoon was in Williamsburg, VA but we really want to see out west (Utah) etc.

Not yet...this is where the BLC comes in.

I want to feel successful at weight loss. I have been "trying" for years...it is not time to act.

A little of both...I need to make good choices to be an example for my children.
