I just ate a cheesecake cupcake and I don't feel guilty. Day 9 of Insanity

I think I've decided Pure Cardio is one of my top 3 favorite days so far. I just love the exercises and how it's constantly changing, it makes to go by FAST. I was on my game yesterday, way more than the previous day and it felt GREAT. Sure I thought I was dying at the end but who doesn't love that feeling after a good workout?

I noticed a few things on day 9:
#1: I might regret saying this but the "warm up" actually seems to be getting easier? Or because it's the same on most of the videos it's easier to tell my improvements on it? I probably just jinxed myself and today it's going to kick my ass hard. I hope so!
#2: My pushups are getting better! Deeper! My push ups starting out were really very pathetic. I couldn't go down very far without my arms buckling and falling on my face. Noticing this improvement totally made my day. and finally
#C: I don't have a scale so I can't weigh myself, and I don't plan to take measurements till the next fit test day, but I think I'm noticing slight improvements in my body. Nothing major, I mean it's only day 9 but things seem... smoother? Less lumpy? More held together? It may just be in my head, but that's good enough for me!

    Sounds like Insanity is my mix of Jillian & my Cathe Fredrich which some times makes me shake my head. I press through the weights & push ups but the cardio is my FAV!! Always has been but I have to do it lightly since I did something to my knee. It feels like it has gotten better then I press too much on it. The more you do the more you will love. Now that the hubby will be leaving earlier for work its game on.

    During my first time of Insanity I didn't like Cardio much. When I got to month 2 Max Cardio was my FAVORITE. Now going through month 1 again I agree Pure Cardio is great. I didn't like it previously because there was no breaks but now I don't care, I rest when I need to.

    I agree you're probably seeing results too. I'm noticing results again and I'm on day 8. I feel tighter, like there is a vice on my thighs keeping them firmer. Its awesome how soon you can see results in this workout. Even if its just something like deeper push-ups or a few more globe jumps or whatever, you will see results and it keeps you going.

    Pure Cardio is my favorite too - even thought "this ish is bananas". I say that after every workout though. I think it is my favorite because you don't repeat exercises. I can push through it easier when I know I don't have to do 2 more sets of it.

    Pure Cardio is definitely one of my favorites. And Plyometric Cardio is definitely one of my least. The whole Level 1 Drill with the pushup, followed by Ski Abs and IN & Out kills me still. I feel like I am getting better but it is still REALLY hard.
    Do your calves start burning during the warm up? I think if my calf muscles didn't start cramping up on me that the warm up would not be nearly as bad....I mean, it is still a workout in itself, but they really burn during it.
    Glad that you are still enjoying it!! Keep up the super hard, amazing work!!
