Where to begin? Well I'm still on the Insanity bandwagon. I did my 2nd fit test yesterday and have to say I was quite surprised with my results. I generally improved on everything, a couple things there were barely an improvement, but something is better than nothing. I also didn't take extra breaks for this fit test, the first time around I allowed myself to rest a bit longer than what Shaun T gives us. I will try and remember to post my results here later tonight. Yesterday I also took measurements! Something I was looking forward to doing, I lost 9 inches overall, it doesn't seem like much but after 2 weeks? I can't wait to see where I'm at day 60!
I have a confession to make... I skipped Cardio Abs this week. I know, I feel guilty. I feel a bit better though since I went on a 20 mile bike ride yesterday with the BF. I just wish I hadn't done that BEFORE the fit test. From now on, fit test comes first, and everything else comes after. I want to make sure perform at my best. I was so tired after everything yesterday! Anyways, back to Cardio Abs, here's the thing, that past few times I've done the workout at the end of it my left shin is killing me, I've had to start icing it afterwards. This is what happened to me after Pure Cardio the other day, and I just had to stop. I realize I've pushed myself too hard. The ironic thing is that I've got a questionable knee, and I expected that to bother me before anything, and it hasn't. I'm pretty sure what I'm dealing with is shin splints, so I'm going to work on holding back a bit till they get better and break out our yoga mats for some extra padding. I know I've got to take it easy or I'm going to set myself back and have to stop Insanity, and I do not want to do that. Even after 15 days, I've come TOO far.
