Gym Day 2

Monday, May 28, 2012

This has been the best decision I have made in a LONG time!! This is so what I needed..THE GYM!! Not only for the awesome workouts that I am getting in but it came to me....this is ME time. All mine!! I can take 2 hours and disappear and come back even more healthier...mind and body!! I think my kids and husband will be noticing a less stressed out wife and mama!! It was so nice to walk out of the gym at 10:30 this morning and know my workout is complete for the day!! I am so not a morning exerciser but it sure feels GREAT to be done early emoticon. My neighbor is thinking of going..not that I mind..but I really want to not have to talk but just focus on ME ME ME!!

Today's workout consisted of 35 minutes of random hills level 2 on the treadmill. Logged in 3.02 miles in total!! Then off for 60 minutes of torture strength training..just kidding about the torture!! He worked upper/lower/core! In all 15 different exercise/machines!! I feel really good after and havent been overly sore!!

I do feel that I need to up the cardio to atleast 45 minutes per day, but the trainer seems to be ready to go after 30. Well this week will be fine but next out!!

Yes I am very impressed that they offer full no extra cost. It is a small gym so maybe that is why...smaller client base = more personal attention!!

Well I am off to make something yummy healthy for lunch!!

Have a great day!! Kim
