Awesome day at the gym!!!

Okay so I missed Wednesday due to a monsoon of rain and then Thursday cause I just wasnt feeling right..not sure what it was but today I was back to feeling good. So I didnt get to go in the AM due to alot of things that needed to be done at home so I waited til about 6pm to go.

I was really hoping the trainer guy was not around so I could just get in and do my thing and leave. He wasn't!! So I planned on running today. My plan of action was to warm up 5 minutes then run for 2 walk for 1 and kinda play it by ear if 2 minutes was too was PERFECT!! I was down to the last 4 minutes and decided to run it all and I DID!! WOW at the end of the 30 I had logged 3.56 miles and finsihed with 3.75 with the cool down. I would walk at 6.5 and run between 7.2 and 7.5. I was so excited that I did it as it has been over 10 years since I have really done any kind of running!! I cannot wait to go back tomorrow!! Then I did 5 leg machines and hoped back on to walk another 30 minutes doing hills..averaged 6.7 miles per hour. Ended that walk with 3.43 miles. The girl next to me kept looking over at how fast I was walking...I think she was impressed emoticon.

    Wow!!!!! You can WALK at 6.5/6.7 mph?!?!?!? I thought it was a typo at first....that is crazy fast speed to be walking!!!! A "good" speed to walk a 15 min/mile is 4 mph!!!!! You are walking faster than a lot of people run!!!!!
