today is a good day!

For my preworkout, I had half a banana, walnuts and almonds and of course, water :o) Completed 2 miles of WATP & after workout, I had 1 cup of cabbage with 2 pieces of turkey bacon and water. I am getting ready to make my grocery list for things needed. The only thing I cannot give up is my ranch dressing. Fat free and low fat taste disgusting lol. I wish I liked vinegar, but the smell of it makes me nauseous. I figure with my caloric deficit, a little ranch won't hurt (prayerfully). I know it is important to replace what you take away. I am really having a time because I want chips every now and again, so someone informed me Baked Doritos would be ok, a small amount of course. When I go to the store today, I am going to look at the ingredients. We'll see. I may just cut them out all together until I get down to where I want to be and then incorporate them back a little. It just makes me sad when I see my family eating their stuff during our family movie night and I am nawing on carrot sticks....gotta work through that. I was livid when I found out I couldn't have kettle popcorn :o( Ok, I must be going through w/draws now talking about what I cannot have. I will focus on what I can have and work from there. I purchased an avocado (never had it before) and plan on fixing that a few different ways to see what I like. Any suggestions would definitely help. My first experiment will be mixing it with salsa. The next one will be mixing it with mustard and miracle whip. My goal is to get it to a consistency of a spread so I can put it on a sandwich after I find the right bread I'm aloud to eat :o) I will let you know how the avocado mix turned out :o)
