Maybe I Should Blog Again

It's been a few weeks since I last blogged. BTW, happy month of July - ALREADY! Half of 2012 gone!

Been going through one of my rebellious phases - AGAIN! The "I don't wanna do this" type of phase. Yes, I've kept mega-exercising. Eating FAIRLY well.

About a month ago, after four months of no caffeine or sugar, I blogged that I was going to learn moderation and have them both back in my life.

Immediately after putting the welcome mat out to both icky substances, I felt the difference. Totally terrible, in many ways.

I'm in the process of reversing that - again. Will try as many attempts as it takes for it to sink into my bonehead that neither agrees with me.

Okay, so I've always wondered why I should blog. For one thing, I notice that it brings my health-related thoughts out from the ethereal to the real. As real as a blog in virtual reality can be. Seeing them concretely stated, it's harder to ignore what's truly going on.

Sending hugs to all in the storm, heat, fire areas of our dear country. I've been through them all and understand completely.

    Blogging helps keep me on track too. I make myself admit when I screw up and just putting it in type makes it that much more real. Almost like having to track my food like the calories don't really count or add up if I don't see them in black and white.

    Besides, it keeps me in touch with my friends on the other side of the country! Can't lose track of them!
