DD went back to work yesterday. She had made a decision to leave her job and take time off before going back again. She spent the summer with her kids and studying for the CPA exam. She took a job for 3 months as a contract worker. When she talked with the person she’s working for they said, “I hope you’re not on a diet, because we have our employees sample our new products. “ Hopefully she can just taste and not go overboard.

So I have the kids again and I will be getting PAID to do the laundry. She said she did 10 loads last week.

Yesterday – Folded/hung 3 loads left from last week, washed and put away 3 more loads. Took the 4 year old to the Dr. for a hearing test before Kindergarten starts on Aug 6. Cleaned out the 14 year old's closet. There was 2 loads of wash in there on the floor. While putting away his clean clothes, noticed some sizes he had outgrown, so I weeded out the smaller items to make more room for what does fit. Did the same for some of the 4 yr old's clothes. This spurred the 11 yr old to clean out her closet and she filled 2 trash bags.

Did the Chik-Fil-A thing yesterday. Told Matthew I had stopped there for breakfast before going to their house. He said, “That’s was took you so long!”. Told him I got there 10 minutes before Mom said I should arrive and I wasn’t late.

Today – Did 3 more loads of wash and turned and matched a huge pile of socks. Went to school with the 4 year to meet his teacher. The 14 year old needed to go to the Dr. for a breathing treatment. Took kids out to lunch also.

The GD finally got used to calling her mom, Mom instead of Grandma. Now she has to learn to call me Grandma instead of Mom. Shows you who she’s around more.
All the extra activity wore me out and last night I could barely make to the end of “Dallas”.

Going to try to make it an early night tonight.

Spark on, Sparklers.
