And I did keep on moving. The grumples have left the building (body) and Triple H can now be defined as Ha. Ha. HA!

Nutrition was great. I wasn't sure what I was going to do for fitness, until I saw a call for extra volunteers at OHS last night. It was 100 degrees yesterday, and we had over 90-100 dogs that needed to be walked between 4 and 7. I swung by the house after work, changed clothes, and headed on down. It was the kind of hot that, when you step out into it, into the full force of the sunlight, you just take a slow breath because the heat is stunning.

We walked, we talked.. well, I talked, they listened and walked and wagged.. we had a good time, and we got everyone walked and worn out pretty quickly.

I zipped back home, got cleaned up, and then greedily and gratefully tucked into the chicken breast and rice and veggies the man had prepared for our meal. It was one of those meals that, while nothing out of the ordinary, was completely delicious and I enjoyed every forkful!

This morning? I totally feel this:

I'm not quite that again, not completely at least, but the bloat has been shed and I simply don't feel blimpish anymore. On top of it all, given the week I've been through, I'm proud to say I lost .2 lbs. I know, that's not a lot to crow about, but considering a month ago I gained 3-5 lbs during that same week, and that does NOT include water weight? I'm pretty darned happy about it.

It's supposed to be another scorcher today. I have a tentative plan to get a walk in as soon as I post this, sort of pre-lunch while it's still cool. Then Bill and I have a date for dinner out. I know where we're going, and what I'm having - Red Robin, and the Ensenada Chicken dinner.

We're contemplating a 9-10 mile walk tomorrow morning, then I'm on the schedule for OHS duty Saturday evening. We're walking 2 miles with Spark Portland Sunday morning at Lower MacLeay Park at 9 am, and then perhaps we'll putter around the house for the rest of the day doing chores.
