Mini Vacation

Well it's Friday morning and I am off work until Tuesday😊home today then going to Charleston tomorrow to play til Sunday so my first away from home watching my food intake is coming soon.
🌺a lot easier when you can pack your food for the day. Fingers crossed I won't indulge like I normally do when we go out of town.
I will have my IPad with me to check in and get support if I need to which is great.
Waiting to weigh in tomorrow to see if the scale has moved. I decided I was only going to weigh once a week on Saturday mornings it got so depressing when I did it everyday since it never moved.

    Yes I am having my fight on my shoulders right now too, and its going to be even harder tomorrow in Charleston. Just uploaded some pics and did my workout today so that is a good start. Time to get some laundry going and get some lunch.

    Have a great trip! Just keep the devil on your shoulder from telling you your trip is an excuse to "indulge".
    I'm trying to keep mine in check right now...he keeps saying "C''s a holiday can make up for it later!" I think he and the angel on my right shoulder are arm wrestling as we speak. Go, Angel! emoticon

    Have fun on your trip! Fast food places should be a new adventure, as you ask to see the flyers with nutritional data--and HOPEFULLY choose the "less unhealthy" menu items!

    If you're like me and love fine dining, ask the waiter for suggestions. They should be able to make informed suggestions. And if they can't ask for the manager--and tell him the wait staff need more training to properly serve the patrons! Remember to count in your alcohol consumption, and don't cheat! Choose white wine over red; choose a vodka tonic or a bloody mary over just about any other cocktail...

    Your instinct about weighing yourself is right on! The stock market can jump all over the place in the course of a week, and it's the general trend that's important to the financial investor. Same with us "nutritional investors." Step on the scale once a week (I do every Friday), or even just twice a month. If you're conscientiously doing your best every day to meet your goals, you'll be guiltfree because you're doing as much as possible right.

    Weighing less often gives your body time to assimilate all the good things you're doing for it.
