A Better Week

So this week has been much better than last week. I got almost all of my exercise in and tried to be good with what I ate. Dinner continues to be the hardest meal. I made a slow cooker recipe (black bean chicken from SP) which turned out great but it was lunch and dinner for 4 days. I am a little sick of it by now! From last weekend to now I had gained a couple of pounds but my hard work this week I actually showed a one pound loss! I really need to stop weighing myself every day.

After the weight gain on tuesday when everything finally caught up with me I normally would have reverted back to eating everything in sight and making up excuses to not go to the gym. However I buckled down and got to work. I think that was the first time that has happened.

Took a bootcamp class today. I usually go sunday mornings and before my very first bootcamp I prayed that I would not make a fool of myself and make it all the way through. I made it and it was kind of fun. Now about a month later I still hope that I don't make a fool of myself but I am much more comfortable. I can't totally keep up with the twenty somethings who are in pretty good shape with the more cardio based exercises but I can lift more weight than they can! Plus the instructor at the end told me that he can see I am putting in the effort and really improving! Yay!

Only one week left for the fall challenge. Time to really buckle down and see what I can do for the last week.
