My Ribs!!!

The community task today says "If 'weight' did not exist, how would you know if your body was healthy? Blog about everything outside the scale that there is progress" (the question is something like that).
When I take my bath now, I realized my hands is always brushing my ribs. I noticed my ribs are becoming visible when I turn to wash my under bust, what else can I say. I know for sure that good life is here to stay.
There are more than enough signs to know am progressing, like calculating my body fat %, this morning I did my waist to hip ratio and its MODERATE, i.e. my risks of having cardiovascular disease is moderate with an avocado body shape meaning am in between pear and apple.
I also measured my waist after a long while today and it has moved from 35.5" to 34", I did it more than twice in unbelief.
*I forgot to mention my elbows, when I am stretching it over my head, I notice a great difference in it, I feel the bones of my elbows more vividly now. And lastly I noticed my collar bones has come to stay visible.
I am doing good.
What are your ways of measuring progress aside the scale?
