Hi, Sparkfriends! I think it's time for an update. I'm doing well... it's time for another photo, because my baby bump is getting really, really big! I am wearing all maternity and/or stretchy pants now. I can't wear any of my "normal" pants. I am still wearing most of the same tops, because I usually wear my clothes a little roomier. People at work keep telling me that I look like as my belly grows the rest of me gets smaller. I think they're just trying to make a fat pregnant lady feel better! But I'll take it!

My appetite is ENORMOUS. I am starving all the time. I am trying to fight my cravings, but they are so strong. All of the food I eat tastes better to me right now than ever! It must be the hormones or something. When I eat, I feel like there's an explosion of delicious flavors in my mouth. It's freaky.

Work stinks. I'm so exhausted all the time. It's really hard to make it through the day. I know I'm just going to get more and more tired, but I'm just trying to stay positive. I wish I could guzzle gallons of coffee, but of course I'm only supposed to drink one cup. Ugh.

So that's that. I'm tired, I'm hungry, and I'm big. Also, I'm gassy, constipated, and it feels like there's a foot or some other baby part poking me inside near my navel. Such is the life of a pregnant lady.

It's been several days since you posted this - I missed it somehow!

I bet you are one of those gorgeous glowing pregnant beauties who look better on their worst day than on my best! We demand pics!! :o)

The flavor explosion comment made me chuckle. That must be a hungry baby! I recently had the "cravings" discussion with a GF and discovered this fun article - What Your Favorite Pregnancy Food Cravings Mean - http://www.3fatchicks.com/what-your
    -favorite-pregnancy-food-cravin
gs-mean/ "Ice craving seems to indicate iron deficiency, even though this item does not contain iron"

...although I'm not preggo, I am anemic so now I have an excuse for ice cream cravings?!? emoticon

    You have a wonderful weekend!

I bet you look adorable and not huge at all. I'm sorry you've been tired. Hopefully you can get in some naps as CANNIE50 suggests...

I'm so excited for you! And I was having pregnancy envy until you said a baby was poking your insides. EEK! I'm terrified now...and laughing at myself.

Wait, where is the picture? I was all excited, thinking it was at the end! I go for my 28 week check up on Tuesday, and will post an updated photo of me then. I feel HUGE, but like you, everyone says it's not that big. I'm sure some are just being nice, but that is just really smart of them anyway!!

Make sure you give in to a craving now and then, just keep it in control portion wise. Don't deprive!! Sounds like you are doing well otherwise, and that's awesome!
Oh, and love that you're getting the kicks! Isn't it an amazing feeling?
    So happy for you!!
    Hugs,
    Beth

It was during my last pregnancy (long ago) that I mastered the art of the 15 minute nap. I would hit the couch in the "ladies lounge" area, outside the restroom, and I would sleep for exactly 15 minutes and my inner alarm clock would wake me up, and I would head back to my desk, feeling a bit less like a pregnant zombie. I hope there is somewhere you can at least put your head down, and your feet up, for a few minutes a few times a day. Hang in there, doll. PS I am glad your co-workers are kind - that always helps. emoticon
