Advent Dec 12-- Barns [Stables] and tractors

Dec 12 - Barns and tractors...oh the pictures of winter on the farm...Now just how do I connect these to Christ in Christmas...well stable in modern language usually refers to barn of some kind. The tractor? well that would be modern camel or better yet, it is our wonderful gift from God this year as we acquired a new-to-us John Deere [different model than this one though] Enjoy and be sure to find room in your day to ♫ ô have a little talk with Jesus and make it right♫ ô

This barn reminds me of the farm/ranch near us where dear friends-like-family lived and has been a second home for me through the years. I wonder about how many friends Jesus had...was it just the disciples or did he have these lifelong friends that we so enjoy...

So many of the pictures of barns are red and stand along in these beautiful landscapes of white...There is a song "But he died alone , for you and me..." not a Christmas song but so appropriate to again think of his blood washing me whiter than snow.
