Day 2 of the new beginning

Monday, December 17, 2012

Okay so this is me at 10:55pm after a long day in which I got up at 6am with only 3 or so hours of sleep. I did 40 mins on my stationary bike today...granted it was 15 mins then an additional 25 after I had to go pick up my girls from school. BUT I did it!
Today was my husband's 38th birthday. Our oldest daughter baked him a german chocolate cake which is probably one of my very favorite cakes and I had a small piece and told him he has to take it with him to work tomorrow because I don't want to be alone with it. I mean why tempt myself? She also baked 2 and a half dozen cupcakes (yellow cake) with chocolate frosting and Christmas sprinkles. They too need to leave the house. Tomorrow I will have left over ghoulash for lunch and will be making hubby take my leftover fish from last nights dinner out (I could not finish my meal; YAY me) to work for his lunch. I will have yogurt for breakfast and the a nice big salad for dinner with some tuna in it or even some grilled chicken. I have a plan, I want to stick to it and since we ate out tonight and I had that small piece of cake I need to make up for it by eating better tomorrow and tomorrow I will also do 40 more mins or cardio on the bike. Maybe tomorrow my feet won't hurt and I can get back on the elliptical. Or even better yet I could do that AND clean off the ab lounge and use that. Or there is the wii fit....choices choices.
I ran into my old boss out to dinner tonight and as much as I wanted to tell him off for what they did to me, I finish my meal and we left without acknowledging that we even saw him. I felt somewhat vindicated by not losing my cool.
Okay, it is 11pm and even if I fall asleep right now I am only going to get 7 hours of sleep, so time for bed for me. I'm back....and this time I am staying!
