Fitbit realization

It seems that in order for me to not think about food non-stop I need to be able to log 1700-2000 a day. In order for me to lose weight doing so ...I need to take 20,000 steps a day! Right now my fitbit says I'm averaging 13,000 + so It looks like I know what I need to do....my goal is going to be 100,000 steps a week and by the end of may I would like to be walking 150,000 + so that I can enjoy the food I like and still lose weight...it's just a numbers game right?
