Stay the Course

This photo is from the October 5K Making Strides Against Cancer. I had breast cancer in 2009 that was treated with two surgeries and radiation. I'm pleased that my follow up evaluations to date have all gone well.
One of the remarkable things I learned at the numerous workshops offered during Breast Cancer Awareness month is the power of exercise. Several sessions mentioned that thirty minutes of daily exercise, they usually suggested walking, dramatically lowers the possibility of recurrence.
That gives me a powerful reason to keep moving. Using the exercise tracker and watching my monthly minutes add up helps.
So I'm going to stay the course with regard to walking and hope you all are as well!
