Personal Goals: Week Three

My goals are:
1. Run at least 3 days a week - shoot for 4 days.
2. Cut back to 2 cups of coffee a day.
3. Get into a size 12 pants. (Changed from get out of my maternity pants!)
4. Lose 5% of my weight. That's 9.3 pounds. I can do it!
5. Blog about my progress once a week.
Well...I did not have a good week last week. I only ran 1 day - but I ran a little over 2 miles. That's more than I've done since before I was pregnant. I've had a very hard time with being consistent with my exercise. I talked to my husband over the weekend and told him how much this bothered me. I went from being the kind of person who exercised almost 7 days a week to barely getting in one good day and it is really starting to effect my attitude. So he told me to do what I needed to do to make myself feel better. I know exercising will help with my energy, give me "me" time, and help me feel better about myself in general. I am going jogging/walking tonight. I am determined to get back in the groove of things I know it's just going to take some time to adjust to this new addition in our lives.
I've done really well with the whole coffee thing. The only day I had more than 2 cups was Friday. But every other day I've stuck to two.
This past weekend I was able to put on a size 12 skirt but it was an a-line and it was extremely tight. Once I can get into a size 12 pants then I'll say I accomplished this goal.
I haven't lost anymore weight since last week - but I can tell my clothes are fitting different. For next week I'm going to take my measurements.
This week I'm going to try to blog every day about my exercising. Hopefully that will help me stay motivated and accountable.
