What I've learned within the last two weeks....

My body type loves Biggest Loser workouts. I'm hippy, but proportionate with a slightly smaller waist. I would assume because they incorporate strength (which I looooooooooooathe doing) and cardio. Sweat is always pouring and I'm sore a day or two after the workout but my energy level is through the roof when I'm done. Within these last two weeks, I have managed to lose some of my back and some of my arms without taking a single measurement. I know this of my arms because my left one had this crease in it which has magically disappeared and my back I've noticed a smaller version of my rolls. Doing strength on certain days or even bi-daily days of strength really don't do me the justice that these workouts does. Even the mere 10 minute workouts they have get me going. So, here we are-- the start of a new week and I'm ready to go. The boyfriend and I are taking a trip to myrtle beach soon and although I won't be on the beach, i want my body in at least the best shape in can be by then for some indoor pool action.
I also learned that my body hates simple carbs. White breads, pastas, cakes...anything that I love my body despises and would rather cling to it than to let me just eat and be merry. I haven't managed to go to the grocery store as of yet to buy me some whole wheat breads etc. however I can do without the whole wheat pasta. That's does me no justice. Tracking has been a tremendous help since some people can go without tracking their food, however, I am not one of those people. Weight watchers was something I couldn't do because i felt hungry all the time, and on occasion I would forget that I ate something if I just guesstimated by trying to remember what I ate for that day. So no more going without logging. I keep a little "homework notepad" in my purse so that I can track on the go since my phone has broken and I can't do it mobile AND I now keep a spare pare of sneakers at my desk at work. Now my only issue is to not fall into my boyfriends habits when he is here considering he's isn't the best eater. I'm managed to have him drink more water considering his blood pressure has been up a bit. The flip side to that is that i'll have me a new partner come this spring to play tennis with (which i absolutely love).
So on and upward and here's to an awesome week and many calories burned.
