Didn't meet my goals

This weekend is the half marathon and I didn't meet my goals thanks to over eating and my back injury. It is too much to walk for long distances. I am going to start the race but only go as far as I can. Hoping for 6-7 miles but if I only get to mile one, then I only get to mile one. And if we are in the parks at Disney and I can't take anymore, then I will just go back to the hotel. I don't want to, but I have to do what I can to make sure I don't do more damage. I also won't be able to go on many of the ride because of my back. I don't want to make it worse. But the kids and Todd and the in-laws can all go on them. I will just take photos. It will be ok. I am waiting on a call from the doctor but nothing yet. I really need something. Medication or an injection or something. It is hurting and making me nauseous.

As for my eating. I have eaten more this past week. I gained 5 pounds. So I am planning out my meals. That is it! I need to plan. I am also going to look at menus at Disney at the places we are eating at to eat healthier choices. I don't snack when out of the house, just chew gum, so that is good. And I won't eat ice cream or anything if the kids get it. I need to get in the right state of mind! None of my clothes fit me either. I am worried about the heat in Florida since I have been so used to the cold of Michigan. But that will just make me lost more, right?? lol

Oh, and I only drink water, and coffee. I just drink one cup of coffee a day. But I get in my 8 glasses or more of water a day :) I don't drink other beverages.

    You just changed your goal to "walk as far as my back will allow." You have to allow for changes when unexpected things come up, like a back injury.
