Paleo 3 Month Progress Pics

Some of you may know, that I started using the Practical Paleo menu plans in late December. If you are not familiar with the plan, you might think, as I did, that it is a gluttonous meat carnival. I do not eat any more protein than I formerly did. As a matter of fact, most days I eat less protein than I formerly did since I took out most of my protein shakes (I have 1/2 a scoop once a day) and I do not eat protein bars any more.

I actually eat far more veggies and healthy fats than ever before and my body seems to be responding well to it. In a future blog, I will share with you what a typical day looks like for me.

Today I only have a few moments to post my progress pictures.

Left is December 31, 2012 Before Picture. My body has so much inflammation and I was feeling achy and tired all the time. I had been on two rounds of antibiotics for some upper respiratory issues and had been eating way too many processed carbs and grains while 'healing' from illnesses.

Before (December 31, 2012 , February 2013, March 2013) No huge differences this month, but I feel tighter and I'm seeing more definition in my legs, especially the calf area and around my knees.

I love the food I'm eating and I love the way I feel . . . most days. For the past two weeks I have felt a little weak after doing yoga (I'll talk about my current yoga journey soon) and my muscles feel tired.

The plan today is to eat more winter squash and drink plenty of water!
