omg! I forgot how sweaty I get!

When you start back on the long road of establishing an old habit you WANT back, there is a period of adjustment!! I can't believe that two miles made me so sweaty!! I included weights and different movements, but still!!!

This trip back to my road to good health is so important that I WILL go through this hard beginning. If I just would have kept going, I would not be having this achy, sweaty, problem!

That is a warning to those of you that want to take a vacation from your healthy habits!!!!

The one thing I made sure I kept in control was my blood sugar numbers...There were times they were higher than I wanted, but on the whole, they have remained pretty good. I test two times a day...take my meds religiously, and when I see a jump in the numbers I fix it...

My whole journey started with my diagnosis of Diabetes. So my journey has always been going on, but I just took a side road for a bit :) The walking/ healthy eating part has been on the back burner.... Now I moved it forward...... :)

    This is the neverending journey; even if we get side-tracked on slow down, we still know what to do. And you can and will do this! ENJOY the walks. Well, 'enjoy' ... asap?

    You are so right about taking a break from healthy habits. That's been the story of my weight loss experience. I started my walking back because my joints got so stiff that it became painful to move around. This is something that I want to keep doing now because I can't afford falling off the wagon again. It's tough having to keep starting over. Enjoyed this blog!

    Sweat happens! LOL Glad to hear you are getting back on track. Diabetes is nothing to take for granted. My husband and daughter both have type 1 and their doctors remind that the healthier the are the less chance of complications due to diabetes. Keep sweating! emoticon
